Production Team Leader

As Production Team Leader, you ensure that your department runs safely, efficiently, and according to plan in Dronten. You lead a team of 30 to 60 colleagues, focus on quality and productivity, and continuously work on process improvements. Are you a coaching leader who is energized by results and developing people? As Production Team Leader, you ensure that daily operations run smoothly and that your team achieves the agreed results. You are visible on the work floor, make adjustments where necessary, and create an environment in which colleagues can perform optimally.

You are involved in, among other things:

• Achieving production objectives in terms of productivity, quality, and yield.

• Managing, motivating, and developing a team of 30 to 60 employees.

• Identifying improvement opportunities and optimizing work processes.

• Analyzing results, hours, malfunctions, and rejections and translating them into concrete improvement actions.

• Developing and safeguarding work instructions and procedures.

• Ensuring efficient staff planning and daily work distribution.

• Implementing operational personnel policies, including absenteeism guidance and employee development.

• Coordinating maintenance work and technical malfunctions with the Technical Department.

• Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

• Actively participating in meetings and collaborating with other departments.

You will work at our location in Dronten, where fresh vegetables are processed daily for meal salads and other fresh products. Daily, vegetables are received, inspected, washed, cut, and packaged using automated production lines. The location supplies customers in the Netherlands and various European countries. Within the factory, continuous work is done on process improvement, automation, and sustainable production. You will collaborate extensively with colleagues from Operations, Technical Department, Quality, suppliers, and the management team to successfully realize projects.

For this position, we are looking for someone who:

• You are a natural leader who maintains an overview, knows how to involve people, and willingly takes responsibility.

• HBO level of education and thinking.

• Experience in a managerial position within an operational environment.

• Good command of the Dutch or English language, combined with the Polish language.

• Affinity with the fresh produce sector, food industry, or packaging industry.

• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system and occasionally on weekends.

• Leadership experience in an international work environment is a strong advantage.
